2023
Proof of Concept and Market Test
The first attempt to create, market and distribute comics under an original IP proved to be a major success by fully recovering the production costs.
Big mistakes and exciting discoveries were made over this period. Validation of the self-publishing approach was crucial for ZARYA-3 to exist.
2024
Evaluation and Writing Period
With lessons learned back in 2023, the whole subsequent year was dedicated to expanding the lore and writing stories for the Universe of ZARYA-3.
By the end of the year 20 scripts for graphic novels were on different levels of progression towards completion. Also, 98 lore articles were produced.
2025
3D Art Training and Production
Effort to illustrate ZARYA-3 began with acquisition of 3D modeling skills. Over a year of learning-by-doing, multiple key assets were produced.
Those vehicles, gear and architecture became foundations for future development of distinct aesthetic language behind ZARYA-3.
2026
Branding, 2D Art Training
ZARYA-3 has officially launched as an in-development title. With a plethora of 3D assets near-complete, the core attention switched to expanding 2D skills.
First 2D concept art of characters and environments with a bulk of final 3D assets are expected to be delivered by the end of the year.
2027
Production of Comics Begins
First half of 2027 is dedicated to creation of strategically important 2D art and 3D assets that cover most of the 20 upcoming novels.
The second half of the year is planned to be fully invested in the production of the first graphic novel that will launch ZARYA-3 to the stars!
